BREE BULLOCK

PRESENTED BY CAMILE
BROUGHT TO YOU BY RACE CAFE RECORDS
& THE STORY BRIDGE PROJECT

Hailing from Northern New South Wales, Bree Bullock is what can be best described as a big heart with a guitar. Between partaking in bands such as The Locks, and Jane's Melodica- Bree has been putting her soul on crowds for the better part of her life and is finally starting to give the city of Brisbane a taste of her little old world.

Bree has a fantastically honest and warm stage presence, with songs that range from introspective and emotionally driven to jovial and carefree stories about not much really. Bree plays tunes which fit nicely into the cruisy acoustic/pop genre, but is always looking to gatecrash new styles, often appearing with all kinds of freelance instrumentalists. Influenced by artists such as Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Tristan Prettyman, Bree's soulful tunes offer a classic and poetic expression of raw emotion and 'such is life' attitude.

Currently recording her first solo EP, Bree Bullock has an amazing lyrical ability and vocal melodies you're sure to be humming for weeks. Bree Bullock exudes a playful wisdom beyond her years and is certain to turn heads on the Brisbane scene with her hard hitting and soulful performances.

Tune in again tomorrow!!

THE MANK

PRESENTED BY THELMA
BROUGHT TO YOU BY RACE CAFE RECORDS
& THE STORY BRIDGE PROJECT

The Sunshine Coast might be home to the Big Pineapple, but the latest noise looking to make a mark on the map is much louder than a giant bright yellow and green piece of fruit.

A heady brew of production smarts and live energy, THE MANK's five piece crew is creating a flavour that is a soul soaked mixed bag of big beats from the vinyl jungle and real song-craft... a soulful mix of electronica, hip hop, funk, reggae and down-beat. Though trying to genre define THE MANK is like trying to tell the difference between fructose and glucose (either way it's all damn good).

Mellow as a beer before noon, and bold as sunglasses at night, THE MANK are pushing it to the edge.

THE MANK, a lazy life of sunny Sundays without the guilt...it makes you feel so good!

MIDNIGHT REVELATORS

PRESENTED BY THELMA
BROUGHT TO YOU BY RACE CAFE RECORDS
& THE STORY BRIDGE PROJECT

Starting off as a few demo recordings for Peter Green's own amusement, the Midnight Prophets quickly became a full-fledged band when his song North Ryde Girl was shortlisted for the 2007 Q-Song Awards. Playing a mixture of songs and instrumentals, their sound falls somewhere between the cracks of world, folk, jazz, blues, country and junkyard chaos.
