Over the years, Harry James Angus has come to occupy a unique position in the Australian musical landscape. Too opinionated for radio, but not quite handsome enough for television, he is nonetheless recognised as one of the most important voices of his generation.

His musical explorations have been wide-ranging and unpredictable - from the futuristic intensity of Jackson Jackson to the gorgeous nostalgia of the Harry James Angus band, and the deeply thoughtful storytelling embedded in his solo material.

Although his body of work is varied and sometimes obscure, all the music that Harry has been involved in throughout this past decade has a common thread running through it - a striving for total originality, and a desire to contribute to the ever-evolving conversation that is music.
