The Midnight Fairground originally formed at Dartington College of Arts for Dartington Festival 2009 out of the ashes of California-based band "The Good Unit", and is the creative baby of a chipper young girl called Mae Karthauser. Based in Totnes, Devon, The Midnight Fairground have played an array of shows all around Europe and America, from their first festival performance at Glastonbury 2009, to theatres and bars in London, France and Belgium and rural festivals in Austria to regular tours of England's southwest coast, and Bristol's folk and cabaret scene.
