MUCH LOVE

Austin //   19 February, 2011

PRESENTED BY CHRISTINA

An eclectic blend of original music, whether performing solo or with the full band. Matt Creaton and Houston Rawls formed the basis of Much Love with some various friends back in 2004 while attending college. They began performing mostly as a funk/jam band with only a handful of songs Creaton had written. The band really began forming it's sound and exploring more musically in '05 with the addition of Ben Aiken on bass. Shortly after, Much Love began frequently playing venues around the Austin area and recording their first album, "Where We Start".That album as well as many shows were graced with the presence of Jay Williams(Killer Bees,Tribal Nation,ect..) on Lead guitar and backing vocals. Jay is the one who originally taught Creaton guitar when he was 15 and got him into music. His experience helped the development of the band tremendously as well as attracting top-notch talent. In '07 Much Love was joined by keyboardist Phil Davies and Matt Price. Their tasteful presence inspired new songs as well as the chance to create any kind of music they wanted to. In '08 Much Love released the self-made album "Where We Start"and ambitiously began working on the pre-production for over 28 original songs. The release of the choice cuts from this double disk worth material is in the making and you can expect it out sometime this Summer.
