PRESENTED BY CHERYL

The End Orphans formed in early 2012 and spent many months rehearsing, writing and honing their craft. In a time where bands are lacking balls and larger than life characters The End Orphans are setting out to change that and shake up the local music scene with big choruses, big guitar solos, out of the ordinary subject matter and themes and an image for the rockers, outcasts and freaks.

Frontman Jake Blatchly and Guitarist Dustin Schmidt met at a party in Brisbane after realising they share quite similar musical tastes and are both local to Ipswich. The two decided to stay in contact after meeting. Jake then went on to meet bassist Eddie Mars at a Marilyn Manson concert and the two of them also hit it off right away. With Jake's highschool friend Anthony Trudgett behind the kit this group is a force to be reckoned with.

Taking influence from artists such as Alice Cooper, AC/DC, KISS, Marilyn Manson, Black Sabbath, The Ramones and Guns N Roses, their sound is a combination of Hard Rock and Heavy metal with a dash of punk, prog, glam, goth, grunge and alternative. The End Orphans want to bring people of all kinds together, open minds, party hard and bring back a real rock n roll show.
