The Wall St Thieves are three lads from Cork : Eric Doherty (Che Horgan (guitar/vocals) Shane Norberg (Bass/vocals) and Derek O'Shea (drums). They have been playing together for little over a year but in that time have built up a loyal fanbase and a regular gigging schedule in Cork City and its environs. Their live show is exciting and energetic, marked by tight playing and strong harmonies. While the setlist combines covers from the 60s and 70s with their own originals to terrific effect.
Their songs (many of which can be heard on www.thewallstthieves.com) reveal a command of a variety of styles, a lyrical sincere directness, and a melodic grasp that has universal appeal. They're a band of thieves worth keeping an eye on!
